Feb. 19 Tuesday Period 6 and 7
 Today, the nine delegate groups chosen from the last Theme-Specific Inquiry Presentation Contest gave their presentations to the large audience: we welcomed a special guest from the Iwate Prefectural Board of Education, some parents of our students, and our school principal, in addition to the whole first year students.
 Their presentations were great: each group tried to profoundly examine their findings acquired by two fieldworks held in Morioka during summer and in Kansai Region during our school trip.
 After all presentations were over, Mr. Matsumoto from the Board of Education gave us meaningful comments to their research. "Next school year, I would like you all to try strategic inquiry activities: You should believe your intuition on the theme you chosen, make a hypothesis as logically as possible, and then try to find out necessary and sufficient evidence corroborating your theory." That is one of the genuine delights we can get from inquiry activities.
 We now ended the program during this school year. Our students have grown up very much, especially as to the skills of thinking logically, critically, and sympathetically, thanks to those who supported our program. Thank you very much!
