June 8 Thursday Period 6 and 7
 Today, we held course presentations in English. From Iwate University, we welcomed three exchange students, and Prof. Yamazaki, who is a teacher at the said school and also supervised our students in education course last school year, and her students. Our guests attended each course presentation; after each presentation, they asked questions in English and contributed to creating an air of authenticity that resembled a performance to the international society even in a Japanese high school.

 Each course selected a delegate group based on the peer-evaluation. They are going to perform at Global Inquiry 2017 Presentation in English on June 28 Wednesday. Delegate groups are as follows:
 1) Role Model of Local Community: Group 3 "Development of Ninohe City"
 2) Ideal Sightseeing Tour: Group 4 "Festival Calendar for Foreign Visitors"
 3) Prestige of the Products Made in Iwate: Group 5 "Yuru-Characters"
 4) Education Curriculum on Global Standard: Group 1 " Global Education System"
 5) Global Intelligence: Group 2 "A Plan to Build an ILC City"
 6) Role Model of Regional Medicine: Group 5 "Local Medicine for Elderly Health"
 7) Science and Mathematics Course: Group 6 "Run! Longer than My Life!"
  They are expected to give the best performance as representatives in front of all third year students and many guests. Most groups except delegate groups have ended their long inquiry activities at this time. It was clear that they had tried to make use of the tips Mr. Murao taught them. Thanks to their effort, this Course Presentation in English was a big success.
  Here, an example of comments from exchange students who attended Global Intelligence course:
  "I thought I knew enough information about the ILC but after watching their presentations, I realized I was wrong. I ended up learning a lot from all the groups. Some of the proposed researches were very practical and could help the prefecture maximize the benefits of the ILC.
  Here's to hoping that these global inquiries could be fulfilled on a large scale!"
